Typing out long blog post being mindful of typos spelling errors, making sure Twitter tweets are exactly 140 characters, trying to type on teeny tiny screen gadgets with numbers and letters they size Barbie would use, can get cumbersome to say the least. Don’t worry your pretty little head one more minute. I’m going to give you three hacks that will save you an incredible amount of time and take away some of that intensity that bloggers, publishers, posters and social media enthusiasts go through daily.

Siri for Facebook

The first social media posting hack I have for you is Siri for Facebook. Siri is an incredible tool that can help you post onto Facebook by simply verbalizing your command to her. Simply say “post on Facebook” and then begin your dictation. Not using an iOS? I got your back. There’s a hack for android to use this google hack for all your android posting. Here you go.

Siri for Twitter

I guess you could say Siri can actually be your social media ‘bitch’ because you can use her for Facebook too. Siri can be incredibly helpful when you’re tired and your eyes are just a little too sleepy to be typing in the exact amount of characters needed to create a jaw-dropping tweet. Save your intense energy and speak your tweet instead. Using Siri is also helpful when you don’t want to get sucked into Twitter, you simply want to post a couple updates. Siri to the rescue!

Blog Posting and Emails

For iOS users, check out that little microphone to the left of your space bar. That bad boy can come in handy for lots of great dictations including blog posts. Right now I’ve got my feet up on my coffee table sitting back with a cold ice tea dictating this blog post. It is being typed out onto my notes pad where I will then copy and paste it to have it spell checked, do a quick read through and pop it in WordPress. I find it very helpful to be able to dictate today because it’s late in the afternoon, my eyes are tired and rather than have that intense exhausted feeling after working on an article, I am lacing up my sneakers and going for a run. This exact process works great for emails too.

For small businesses solo entrepreneurs and entrepreneurs, using virtual dictation tools will simplify every day publishing. My favorite of these three hacks is undeniably the microphone on my iOS.
